Perseverance

Dictionary meaning: to persist in anything undertaken; maintain a purpose in spite of difficulty, obstacles, or discouragement; continue steadfastly.

This post is for Swadha, who persisted in getting exactly what she wanted inspite of silly sales people, sillier credit card people and the daily disappointment of knowing that something that comes so easily to other people, takes ages to make it to her door.
Sounds like a mystery?
Well all she was trying to do was buy a high end digital SLR, the harassment for which (since she wanted it within a certain scheme and on EMI’s) went on for months.

Well she persevered and finally got it.

These pictures she took with it in Delhi and on a recent trip.
Hats off to you Madam, you did do it ….finally.

Pinku, thanks for sharing this post. Swadha, congrats to you for persevering and on your new camera. I saw the pics of India-Gate, You have done one hell of a great job.
Pinks, why dont you do a full post of the entire story of "desiring to getting" the camera, and tell us how Swadha persevered. It will be one hell of a great post. GO ahead, do it.

Patience is one virtue i lack enough of; not that i'm complaining. :-)

Kudos to Swadha for her perseverance. The XT is a great camera. If those are the first pics from her first D-SLR, then she's off to a great start. Can I know who the seller was? I'd like to avoid souring my equipment purchasing pleasure.Thanks.

As an aside, a friend once bought a laptop. Two days after he bought it, it was stolen from his home. He promptly bought a new one. That was also perseverance.
