The countdown is on...
Two more days and it will be a new year again...
I was wondering what new year wishes I would like to make when it struck me that perhaps first I need to see how many of the wishes for 2009 actually came true.
This is what I had posted last year as my wish list:
And of these the biggest picture was of two people holding hands - I have been blessed with companionship and love and though we have occasionally fought, in our hearts we always knew that we are going to make up and be there for each other in any case.
Chocolates: :) am happy to report that almost through the whole of the year my fridge has always been well stocked in this regard. There may not have been much else though at times.
Perfume: have had some, will greedily say can always do with more
Bag: I still havent found the one I can lose my heart to without losing my bank balance...so the search is on.
Books: Did pick some this year.....though the list is nowhere close to the end. But that's a pleasure not pain.
Jerusalem: Didn't manage this year....but the plan to travel there in 2010 are strong. With the blessings of friends I am sure we will make it.
The lace curtains: on the way they changed into green and white ones, am happy at the metamorphosis
THE LBD: yet to happen......but then cant blame anyone for that since am hardly little myself...need to lose a lot of weight before anything of that sort can be fitted into
Arum Lily : :( they didn't bloom..........though I had really prayed they would.
Coffee: had loads.......a warm cuppa made just right for me in the morning.....what else can one ask?
Leh : is still calling.....will do it soon. In the meantime did manage Andamans this year...so not complaining at all.
Not a bad tally what do you say??
Am working on the Wishlist for 2010......wait a while to check it out.....
And yeah as this year comes to an end dont forget to count your achievements and blessings too in the year going by.
Make the old guy feel good you know....honestly he wasnt such a bad chap after all :)
