Goa for the Old

My mom and her cousin and his wife just went on a trip to Bombay and Goa. (yes, Bombay thats how they think of it inspite of all the hype about Mumbai).

We joked that they are too old to enjoy those places and they are meant for the young and adventurous. The mocking continued till I saw the pictures. Then I stopped.
(Mom on the mini rail near elephanta Caves)
(Mom and Mammi on Ferry)
(Mom collecting sea shells on Juhu beach)

Mom seems to have had more fun than me :(
Am sharing some here for you guys...just so you know that age is completetly in the head and my mom refuses to step over 40 whatever it takes.

Am hoping she stays that way.

wow..it sure seems ur mom had a lot of fun...
and yes surely age is just in the mind and the mood..sometimes i feel as young as a 16 year old and sometime i fell as matured as a lady of 40 :)

I feel that hers is the age now to travel and enjoy. Having given their best years to rear us up, they deserve a break like this. You are tempting me to send my mom to such a great trip too. Last time she went to B'Bay, she came back rejuvenated and young again.
Great sharing with us, thanks.

One is as old as he or she thinks. Age is in the mind. Lovely pics and thanks for sharing.

Good for Mom.
Age is just a number. A person has to be judged by what's on the inside not on the outside. Obviously your Moms soul is still very young.
Go Mom!

Pinku How is my post linked here? I didn't link it!

And it's great to see your Mom and Co. having a blast in Bombay! Age, if anything, makes us more bindas :)
Lovely, heart warming pictures.
I've been enjoying Threshold, your other blog, for quite some time now. Enjoyed this one, too. Loved Jashn e sardi (though we hardly have one in Mumbai/Bombay), as well as your ma's adventuresome spirit. Am also enjoying French (and other) movies on this wonderful chanel UTV World Movies.

Dil hona chahida jawaan - umraan ch ki rakhya :)

Thats a saying in punjabi that means if you are young at heart, age doesn't matter.

:) You are right : your mom seems to have great fun :)

sooooo sweet. I love it when they let their hair down and enjoy themselves.
nice pics..especially the last one...sometimes we forget that our parents are their own individuals...other than being our parents!!!......and they are capable of having as much fun as we are!!!
have a wonderful year ahead!!!
Truly the older generation knows how to live better. We are always so busy but we never manage to either finish anything or enjoy anything.

Yup pics full of fun.
